FAQ
how does a session usually flow?
Upon meeting at the determined location, I'll go over some basics and explain the itinerary for the shoot. Once we begin, I'll provide guidance and prompts for posing, and capture photos as we go.
I look for those little brushes of the hand, glances of piqued interest, and windows of authenticity. The prompts I provide try to evoke this along with movement-- more interaction, increased comfortability.
Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
Absolutely. I always encourage having a pre-session meeting either over the phone or over coffee. This allows both parties to test the waters and see if we're a good fit!
Do you visit the location before the day of the session?
Yes. I always feel more comfortable shooting when I am familiar with the location. Visiting also gives me a chance to develop a session plan and ideas for shots.
Do you travel for weddings or destination sessions?
Most certainly! I love to travel and hope to see all the corners of the world. If your session takes me somewhere new, I'll be incredibly grateful.
do you charge an hourly or flat rate for longer sessions such as elopements & weddings?
I charge an hourly shooting rate, but the overall price includes other fees such as travel, equipment, and post production.
